Embedded fonts and User fonts
I'm running KOReader 01/2021.

What I'd like to know is can embedded fonts be displayed along with the user chosen main body font?

Did you try with style tweaks? ie: don't override embedded fonts at all and use

I'll try adding !important and see how it goes for the eBook. I'll report back later when I've tested this.
