The greatest number of books on a liseuse
What is the greatest number of books you have ever put on your liseuse?
Was it at all usable afterwards? |

Not sure if you mean "how many books can you keep on your ereader but if so....we (the wife and I) keep between 750 and 1000 books on ours. Wife keeps about 20% of her books as how-to books (beading and photography books). The rest is all scifi and fantasy with a smattering of John Grisham (sp) books. I have the same amount only my non-fiction books are software engineering books, the rest scifi, etc. Both of us only use about 40% of the capacity of the Nook (2 gigs).

Well, anyway, yes they are all usable. Any book I have clicked on has opened and been readable. I keep mine sorted by author, and its fun to scroll thru sometimes and see books I had forgotten I had........and need to read....... Once read tho.......they are deleted from the K1. How many do you have on yours? |

Currently running at c.350 titles stored on my liseuse, spread between main memory and the two cards. Limiting factor is the time it takes the software to organise the contents when it boots; once that's done there is no degradation of performance.
