Classic nook backplate cleaning?

I have inadvertently got blue ink on the white backplate of my nook WiFi. I've tried several solutions including Gumption, an "Off Stick" and bicarb soda.
Has anyone else had this problem or any solutions?

The backplate is kind of an odd material. It may be next to impossible to get an ink stain out, especially with the normal color being white.

You can get replacement backplates, though they seem a little pricey.

I think they are reasonably priced...Plus you can get a fancy color if you like...I would...I might....Superficial I know.

Haha yeah they're a good solution...for americans

It's probably not worth the price to get it over here; in fact I can't even work the shipping out but I'm estimating a good AU$40 for a backplate that might get messed up AGAIN.
The actual stain is not over the whole of it, just like someone has scrawled with a blue pen randomly.

Hmmm That is a problem...40 would be to much....Is there a source for Skins where you are?

Heard they are good quality if you can get them for a good price where you are? I am not sure though....Good luck.
