Intro
Hi I'm Candice and I have never been a part of a forum before. My first question is what do I do to be a part of elending?

Hi Candice! Welcome to the MobileRead forums!
I think I understand your question about 'e-lending.' Maybe... ... If you look at the blue bar at the top of the page you will see a section for 'e-books.' Click once on that and a drop-down menu will give you many different options. You can browse by format so choose the type your e-reader uses. You can then choose to browse by author or genre. When you find something you'd like to read, just download it to your computer and upload it into your e-reader. It's free, and these have been proofed and uploaded by MobileRead members for our enjoyment! If you find a book that is in a different format than your reader uses, you can download the free software 'Calibre' (which was written by one of the MobileRead members and chairs a sub-forum for its use) which is very simple to use and will convert most formats into the one that you can use. If you have a problem using it, just go to the Calibre sub-forum and ask for directions. If this doesn't provide the answers you need, just try again. Folks here are very friendly and will try to help you as best they can! Stitchawl Last edited by Stitchawl; 08-11-2010 at 09:33 PM. |
