RSS Feeds: Errno 13 Permission denied

I cannot seem to get RSS feeds downloaded without the following error:

**** is where my Ubuntu username would be.

I am running Calibre on Ubuntu 10.4. I'm using the preset recipes for RSS feeds.

Please help. I'd love to be able to read the news on my PRS-500

You have a permissions issue with your library folder. If you dont know how to fix permissions in linux, just ask, and we'll help

Yeah, that would be great. I deleted Win7 from my laptop because I wanted to learn Linux this summer. I went all in to force myself to use it

This should do the trick:

chmod -R a+rw /home/****/Documents/eBooks/calibre/

Note that this gives read write permissions to all user accounts on your computer. I leave setting finer grained permissions as an excercise. You can learn more about chmod with the command

man chmod
