Removing part of a book :(
Hi everyone,
I think I did something rather stupid and messed up my EPUB file. I have a book of short stories and there are some in there that I don't really like. So I deleted the .htm split file that held the chapter and now my TOC is messed up. I don't have the check-boxes next to anything in the TOC editor (they just don't show up at all) and I'm getting blank lines in the editor as well. Any help getting this back on track would be wonderful. Thanks! |

If you deleted in the "Book browser, it should have taken care of the TOC (TOC editior, not an inline TOC) That one is just another HTML file in the list that you will have to hand edit.
A split file may have contained more that just your unwanted part. Before you delete the "bad parts" Sigil split before the bad part and after the bad part., now you can delete the Bad part ONLY. Sigil adjusts the Play order and the TOC |
