ebook blank on Sony 505

I have twice downloaded an ebook in Adobe PDF format. The download goes fine. Adding the book to Calibre V6.45 and reading it there goes fine.

Sending the book to my Sony 505 goes fine each time EXCEPT the pages are all blank when I try to read it. Other Adobe PDF ebooks are fine.

Any explanation or remedy about this one book?

It' spossible that changing the metadata in the PDF is breaking it. To test move the book to the sony using windows explorer.
