Neue iTunes 9.1 Version erkennt eBooks
Habe heute die neuste iTunes Version installiert und siehe da, sie ist eBook tauglich. Habe mal meine ePub Books importiert und sie werden mit Cover auch angezeigt.
Auf mein iPhone senden kann ich sie allerdings nicht. Dort werden nur die Hörbücher angzeigt. Schätze mal, man kann sie nur auf das iPad senden. |

Wie hast du das herausgefunden? Ein eigener Menüpunkt wird bei mir nicht angezeigt? Dafür ist die Hilfe schon mit einem Platzhalter für iPad-Hilfe versehen.
Lassen sich die ePub denn auf iTunes lesen? Nachtrag: Ahja, sobald man mit "Datei zur Mediathek hinzufügen" ein ePub auswählt, wird automatisch ein neuer Menüpunkt "Bücher" aufgemacht und ein Cover angezeigt. Öffnen lässt es sich nicht, und es funktioniert auch nur mit ePub (ohne DRM, wie Steve Jobs schon mitgeteilt hat), nicht mit PDF oder PRC. Last edited by K-Thom; 03-31-2010 at 05:57 PM. |

Bei mir war der Punkt schon immer da, weil ich auch einige Hörbücher habe. Früher hieß er halt Hörbücher. Heute Bücher. Bücher und Hörbücher werden in der Ansicht dann voneinander ein bisschen getrennt.
Bin sehr gespannt, wie das Bücherangebot sein wird, wenn das iPad mal auf den Markt kommt. Vielleicht gibt das ja dem eBook Markt in Deutschland mal einen dicken Schub und die Auswahl etc. wird schnell größer. Wäre zumindest wünschenswert. |

Davon würde ich nicht ausgehen, da noch nicht einmal sicher ist, ob oder wann iBooks in D/A/CH verfügbar sein wird.
Und - vor allem für - textunes und txtr können deutschsprachige Verlage ja heute schon etwas anbieten. Dafür müssten sie nicht aufs iPad warten. |

Nein, nicht unbedingt. Sie geben die Initialzündung indem die anderen denken, selbst Apple steigt ein. Wenn ich sehe, wieviele sehr gute MP3 Player etc auf dem Markt sind neben iPod und Co. bin ich recht zuversichtlich, was die eBooks angeht.
Selbst er konservativste Verlag wird dann vielleicht ein bisschen neugierig und möchte eine Scheibe vom Kuchen haben. |
