All Pre-Order Onyx Boox will come with the Scribd.com application!

Scribd.com and Onyx had partnered to provide a Scribd.com application that will come on all Onyx Boox 60 Pre-Orders being delivered on April 2,2010.. The Scribd application will also be available for download on April 2, 2010 on www.OnyxBoox.com.

Scribd.com will also soon be promoting Onyx directly from their website.

Currently the Onyx Boox 60 is available for Pre-Orders for $299.

What will the application DO, as a matter of interest? Scribd is just a web site, isn't it? Surely the Boox can access it using its web browser, just like any other web site? It certainly works fine from the Neo, which is, as you know, the same device.

It allows searching through documents, respond to the new Scribd mobile tab directly, download files, log into your Scribd account all within the 6 inch screen. Later it will have purchasing ability.
