Calibre doesn't display UTF8 characters
I have a recipe that brings pages with UTF8 characters.
Calibre viewer shows them like this: лет Each UTF8 in this case is 2-byte and bytes are shown one by one. How to enable correct display of UTF8 characters? |

utf-8 should be the default. My guess is the recipe is specifying a different encoding. Try adding an encoding meta tag:
Code:
<head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> ... </head> |
