They have arrived!

Man, I really wanted to say that one day.

Anyway I’m speaking about an eBook Reader that one can see and buy for the first time in Portugal form a normal shop.

It’s the Longshine from Longshine Technologie Europe GmbH, a rebranded Netronix EB600 device as reported here in the forums https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...ight=longshine).

FNAC Portugal is selling it at their online store since the 11th (http://www.fnac.pt/pt/Search/Search....&str=longshine) and it costs 259 euros new.
Today I have seen one in my town’s shop (Forum Almada). It’s in the entrance and one can not miss it!
First look (the one they have there is the black model) and it looks almost exactly as my Cybook, same size, thickness, even the same buttons in the same place and all. Just the cursor in front has a different shape, being round.

It looks to be the “free” version of the reader - none of the formats can read DRM files - because of the stated document reading options:
TXT, PDF, RTF, HTML, CHM, BMP, JPG, PNG, DJVU, ePUB, MP3, FB2, PRC, DOC;
where the DRM versions (ePub and Mobipocket) of the reader have fewer options:
TXT, PDF, RTF, HTML/CHM, BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, ePUB;
(http://longshine.de/longshine/p_ebook.php?lang=eng)

…but just after someone buys one and reports here, can we confirm this.

Best regards,
