Stupid Q about Author Sort and Sony Readers

I dimly recall that there is (or used to be) a preference setting that would make calibre use the author_sort meta-data in place of the author meta-data when sending books to the various Sony devices. I went looking for that preference last night, and couldn't find it.

Was I just too tired to find it? Was I blind? Alternatively, was I smoking crack when I thought I remembered the option?

If any of you can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

IIRC that option was only for MOBI and the Kindle.
