Duplicate Book Jacket page

When I check Insert Metadata ... and do more than one conversion (ie when trying to get TOC right a few times) I get two Book Jacket pages. I don't seem to get more than two so there is some checking done but seems like it needs tweaking. This is on 0.6.2

Well if you convert and then use the output of the conversion as the input for the second conversion, you will get two book jacket pages. There's no reliable way for calibre to tell that there is a previous jacket page,

Hmm, I would have thought that if Calibre inserted a bookjacket page it would be able to detect it. I guess I'd better keep that feature turned off. Doesn't seem too useful if when we change the metadata the bookjacet isn't updated, just keeps adding extra pages.

Have you tried the setting to remove the first image? That might remove the old book cover. I guess it depends on whether it is inserted as an image or not.

No, it wont. The Book jacket page gets converted into very different things depending on the output format.

Not exactly sure if this is the same problem, already occured in version 0.5.x.

I upload an epub (which already has a cover) to calibre, then convert this epub to prc (eBook is just availabe in epub, but I want to read it in prc on my Cybook, just in case anybody wonders).
Result is I get two covers in the converted prc, one in fullscreen, the second with some margin.

Is there any way of avoiding this? And does this also happen the other way round, converting prc to epub?

Use the remove first image option when converting

Well, that does work, but it also removes the b&w frontispiece on page 2 (page 1 Mobipocket count, since it counts the cover as "page 0").
