pdf and page numbers
I might purchase a prs505 for my research project and therefore I need to be aware of the original page number when I read.
When you convert a pdf in order to get it fit into the prs505, what happens with the page number? Is there an easy way to keep the original one? Thanks a lot |

It depends on how you convert it. If you just remove the PDF margins using soPDF then the page numbers are en tact. However if you convert the PDF to HTML then LRF you lose all page number information.

If you want to see if your PDFs are usable "as is" (or after soPDF) on the PRS-505, download the Sony ebook software to a Windows PC. See Sony's Windows ebook Reader. The software now emulates a PRS-700, except that it does not have zoom or landscape mode. Note that the PRS-700 is more capable than the PRS-505, particularly for research, but with a fuzzier screen.
