Kindle 2 shows up at the FCC
Those gagging for some detailed specs will be disappointed. All the interesting stuff, like user manuals, is inaccessible as the applicant filed a short term confidential request (which expires on April 1st, long after Amazon has introduced the new Kindle I hope). Still, if you love impenetrable digits and charts, the following link is for you.

I am no expert at reading these types of documents, but am I correct in understanding that it looks to be a CDMA only device (putting to rest the hopes for GSM?)

We can also see from the confidentiality letters that this time Amazon used Tolman LLC as a cover. IZY LLC was the company used to hide the Kindle trademarks.
