What date is responsible for the time when a book is added to the library?

That's just the standard "Date" column in calibre, as far as I know. There's also a standard "modified" column, which isn't very useful. I added a "Published" date column for my own use.

{date} is when the RECORD (metadata) was first created.
It happens when you Add a book , but you can create a entry with no formats (Empty Book).

If the actual Format add date is important, then you need to have a custom column and log it manually as {last-modified} updates with any change that affects the record.

You can hover over the format in the MDE and see the File Systems last Modified timestamp
