Problem converting on MacOS Monterrey

A friend tells me that she cannot convert an epub to mobi or azw, before sending it automatically by mail.
Books have no protection.
Any suggestion

5.0 calibre is still installed Big Sur, there it transforms but does not send.
in 5.1 with monterey it does nothing at all

The 5.0 transforms mobi but not AZW3,
Everything worked in version 5.29

I recommended you install 5.31.1

Looking at the error message about a read-only database, I suspect that starting with looking at the permissions on the directory where the metadata.db is located would be a good start.

The library folder is the same and that you downloaded the version 5.29 version of October 8. With that it works without problems.
