Koreader fails to display images in a cbz file correctly.
It displays the first image fine, then the following images all have a piece of the previous image attached to them pushing the next image lower on the screen and cutting it off. I even reduced the image size to almost my reader's native resolution. 800x600. Any ideas? I read elsewhere that cbz comics work fine. (My cbz comics are epubs renamed to the .cbz extension.)

Renaming a file does not change its format. cbz and epub are both zip files but the internal structure of an epub is much more complicated.
To convert epub to cbz, unzip the epub, then zip the contents of the image directory. |

I did that too with the same result. Do they have to be numbered a certain way?

I'll disagree. An ePub is just a zip file with one special file pointing to another that defines the layout. A CBZ I just a zip file with images. I have done precisely what @Linusrg did plenty of times with no issues except maybe the order being wrong in a couple of books. I only do as a quick test, but, it has worked in any comic book reader I have tried.

Disable continuous mode, maybe (middle tab in bottom menu)?
