Bad Pixels?
I picked up my Reader today and noticed a small 1/4" (or less) smudge of dirt on the screen. Tried to wipe it off and it wouldn't go.
I'm assuming a cluster of pixels went bad, but it's kind of strange. I'm assuming there's no hope for fixing it. Will post pics if that helps. |

I had something like that on my PRS-T3 where has I dropped the reader and I assume it banged into something on the way to the floor (corner of the dresser??). The spot was pretty small so I just read around it. At least it wasn't as big as the divot on the screen of my PRS-T1 - I was reading on a break at work and something fell off the desk hutch onto the screen.
I'm pretty klutzy so probably it won't be too long before I have something like that on my Kobo. Yes, I have a cover but covers can only do so much good if you drop the reader while it's open for reading, or if something falls on it from above while it's open for reading.... |
