Astak Site With "MobiEbook" Sales & Support

I don't know if this is new, but Astak has put up some info about their version of the Hanlin V3, the "EZ Reader".

This includes a link to a new site called "MobiEbook", which aims to sell ebooks for the EZ Reader. They also have a special: offering the EZ Reader for $299.00 to the first 100 customers. After that, the EZ Reader appears to go for $329.00. It also includes a forum section, which I know must be new, because I am the first registered member!

Like the BeBook support forum, this might develop into a good resource for Mobileread's many Hanlin/BeBook/Lbook and now EZ Reader users.

Any news from Astak on when they will be launching a wireless version of the Hanlin V3 ?

Bebook have it on their home page but are not specific about the release date other than that it will be early in 2009.

February for EZ Reader Plus (with WiFi) and March for EZ Reader PRO with WiFi and a touchscreen. See two of Robertb's posts from the thread Astak Mentor eBook readers with WiFi and Touchscreen options: #992 and #1024.

Robertb also mentions on the Astak forum that they will be demonstrating both the EZ Reader Plus and the EZ Reader Pro at CES in Las Vegas on January 8 - 11, 2009.
