Kindle Light Color

Hi guys!

I would like to know if there is a planning or possibility to add the light color changing on Kindle. I have one but i cant use at night because it messes with my sleeping...I would like so much an option like the app f.lux that have the same action and I use all the time
I really like the Kindle device but in some areas it lets me down very much...

If you could please enlight me it would be wonderful,

Thanks in advance

No, that'd require an hardware modification, and I don't recall anyone ever doing it on a Kindle (unlike, say, on older Kobos).

Isn't it a little unreasonable to be angry that the Kindle doesn't do something that it's not advertised as being able to do? Why did you believe that it would be able to do this?

The topic has come up here several times in the past.
If you had checked for information on that topic on this forum, you could have skipped the purchase, anger, and stress.

HarryT don't know...maybe...but my point of view as a consumer and a noobe usuar...when i bought i thought it would be easy and natural to put all my old books and even scanned there without all the problems and limitations. It was what I tought and hope i could do without knowing that this device was maide as a complement, with the focus on their own interests...I maybe get mad with myself to not have researched better about it. Tought would be a "normal" portable device...with the light tho I did not knew i would have a problem until i used...according to the brief research i did, it was said that the light was not like on the other devices that goes straight to your eyes...
As knc1 said if I knew before this informations or this forum posts about it, i would have skiped all this unnecessary disappointment and hassle. I went straight to de Kindle device because i had a brief experience with it trough a friend of mine that didn't knew nothing about I'm talking about
But anyways, my bigger issue for me is the sincronization with PC and Calibre, as I already made a comment here. Hope some good and beatiful souls make the the jailbreak to the 5.9.7 version... for me to have a little more options

thank you very much for the thoughts and replys!
