How to touch the source?
If i want to manipulate on the content how do i do it?

See our github site for access to Sigil source code:

https://github.com/Sigil-Ebook/Sigil

Detailed instructions are provided on that site to build Sigil from source on Linux, MacOSX, and Windows using standard development tools. Sigil is primarily written in C++ and uses the Qt toolkit. It also has parts written in C, and Python 3.

Thank you for your reply.
I want to use the FOAF ontology to describe the relationship between people in a novel using SIGIL.
and I'm looking for how to use this ontology with SIGIL?

If you are not very familiar with Qt, C++, and Python, you simply will not be able to accomplish this. Furthermore, an FOAF ontology of characters in a novel would be a writer's tool and not an epub editing tool. Sigil is not for authoring books. It is for editing epubs. There is really no chance we would ever integrate it into Sigil.

I strongly recommend you look at OpenOffice or LibreOffice as a better platform for a tool like what you want.

Or perhaps built an add-in tool for MS Office to create that, perhaps for PowerPoint or Word.

As Kevin already said, this is probably a lost cause to do this in Sigil without detailed knowledge of C++ and Qt.

MS Research have an ontology add-in tool for Word, it's on the Codeplex archive ==>> Word Add-in For Ontology Recognition

It's geared towards scientific documents, but could probably be made to work with fiction.

Not sure if the OP is going to be discouraged. Looking at the two threads he started (2018-Jul-09 and 2018-Jul-18), both seem to indicate his desire to use Sigil as an ontology tool. If his task is actually to turn Sigil into an ontology aware editor so information from an ontology could be automatically added to a document, ghod alone knows why his supervisor let him choose the task.
