University team creates electrowetting E-paper
http://goodereader.com/blog/e-paper/...electrowetting
Same technology Liquavista has developed. Would be great if this put pressure on amazon/Liquavista to speeden up the process of commercializing the technology Last edited by tracey1; 06-13-2017 at 11:14 PM. |

With 1cm square pixels it might not lead to an e-reader that will fit any of my pockets. Could be great for large signage though.

I'm more worried about fitting it onto the lot my house is on -- to match the resolution of an Aura One, a quick calculation says the display would be 23.40 by 17.55 metres. For the metrically challenged, 76.78 by 57.58 feet (arrived at by using the statement that a 32x32 pixel display is 40cmx40cm or 1.25x1.25 cm per pixel). The display would be best viewed from a distance of 42.97 metres or 141 feet (retina distance for 2.03ppi display).
