Kindle book default look with embedded fonts
Hi there,
is any chance to make azw3 e-book to appear default look with embedded fonts in Kindle to avoid publisher font manual setting? Thx in advance, xtraktor |

In order to display embedded fonts, you have to select Publisher Font. That was a very stupid move. When there are embedded fonts, Publisher Font should default to selected and then the user can change that if wanted.

I will agree with Jon on this one.
If fonts are embedded, then use them by default , UNLESS the user setting is Always override, at which time, the selection takes over. |

No this is not something that can be controlled in the zaw3 file itself -- it is a function of the reading software.

Try this: open a book with an embeded publisher font, choose a fallback font first then choose the publisher font. Now, if you open a book with a publisher font, it will be the first choice, otherwise the Kindle will use the fallback font.
Not sure, but I think it works like this. |

With a Kindle, there is no way (that I know of) to get the eBook to open showing embedded fonts be default. The eBook will open with a system font being used.
