Kobo Vox charger problem please help
Hello
My charger for my Kobo Vox died and I have been unable to obtain a replacement. I heard that any 5v 2A charger will do for the Vox as long as it is a wall charger can anyone confirm if this is true? Also my battery is currently at 0% and will not turn on. Will I need to do a factory reset after letting it charge for a while in order to try and get it to start again due to the battery not recognizing other chargers or should it turn on after an hour or so of charging without need for a factory reset. Thanks |

No, "any" 2 amp charger won't do. The wiring in the Vox's USB connector is a bit different. However there are lots of Kobo Vox chargers available on Amazon and eBay for $10 - $15, a lot cheaper than they ever were from Kobo. I've bough a couple over the years.
