Scribd adds magazines
Scribd has added magazines to their lineup. Pretty limited selection, but might be of interest to some folks.

I like it, but I'm not sure how much I'll use it. They have some good magazines available as a start. They need to add more.
It is not what I expected and is an interesting twist on content discovery. I thought that it might be images of the pages similar to digital magazines that you can check out from your public library. However it is links to articles within the magazines like you would browse on a website (which makes it much easier to read). Also it collates articles from various magazines for you similar to how Apple News gives you a list of articles from various sources in different topics. It's not just read this or that magazine issue. Then for each article it has the list of interests that are relevant to that article topic. You can click on the interest button and see books and audiobooks that are related. |
