calibre 2.71: Tools -> Arrange into folders fails (solved)
Since upgrading to 2.71, when trying to arrange an e-book (EPUB) into folders, every book I tried fails with:
Code:

Sure. I found that books which have already some folder mapping do not fail but convert properly, or otherwise a message appears to indicate the file is already mapped. All others fail on me at the moment. See the other attachment for my settings which I always use (no recent change).
When I inspect the temp folder, C:\\Users\\<user>\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\calibre_1 ru_p3 there are no sub-folders there, just a couple of ipc_result_1_1_ujxjg7.pickle files which are empty. Hope this helps. Edit: Trying the same attached book with calibre 2.68 on another machine succeeds, so the epub is genuine. Last edited by DrChiper; 11-01-2016 at 10:33 AM. |

Thanks Kovid.
Reinstalling 2.70 for the moment I guess. A pity, I just got used to the new icons ... |
