Support Writing On Your Palm

Jeff Kirvin from Writing On Your Palm is asking for our support. He is currently broke; if you enjoy reading his excellent blog on writing on PDAs, you could help him out with a small Paypal donation.

Ugh, thats unfortunate.

Speaking as someone who has been "officially" unemployed since November 2001 (resigned from the company after surviving 5 rounds of layoffs in 18 months), having a new daughter, and having to create my own unique business models to survive, I can definately sympathize with his situation. It isn't easy, but when you finally "make it", its very rewarding and empowering.

There are a lot of different ways to make money these days, once you give up the need for an "employer". Its tough to see past the debt and despair to finding something positive to motivate you, get you up every morning, and contribute... but it does happen. You just have to keep moving forward, moving ahead, be innovative, and help others.

Maybe I can cross-post this to one of our sites for some additional traction.

There's a field in PayPal to specify what you're paying for. I wrote "inspiration".
He doesn't even know me, still I felt I was giving a hand to a friend.

Oh, man... no way, my contribution was smaller than the period at the end of this sentence.
I hope you get over this very soon, really.
