Problems with the Treo 650s and T5s
The Treo 650 and the Tungsten T5 use a new FAT based nonvolatile file system, which is causing big problems.

I don't see how they could address the problem without completely redoing the architecture. Given how long it took palmOne to bring the two devices out on the market, it seems very unlikely that they will come up with a solution any time soon.
