It had a bit of competition from the UK family holiday dysfunction ghost drama with time-hopping literary structure and bonus recipes, but in the end, that one seemed like too much of a downer and this one is more hopeful and optimistic and probably a lot more relevant to the well-being of real people around the world who may find strength and comfort in its messages (apparently it's helped a lot of religious people over the decades since initial publication).
