palmOne Tungsten T5 spotted for $349
Buy.com currently sells the palmOne Tungsten T5 for a low $349.99 - shipped free. Plus, they include a free T5 hard case!
I don't think you can go much lower than that. Hurry if you are interested, because I don't know for how long the offer will last. |

It is too early for the T5 to be already refurbished, isn't it? Price is really low though

For that price, I am seriously contemplating buying the T5! Since I use my PDA in 99% of all cases as a dedicated e-book reader, I can live without WiFi pretty well (yes I know, I was the first who yelled "No WiFi, what the hell?!").
OR should I shell out another $150 and get the Axim X50v instead??? |

I should rephrase my question: Given that I use my PDA almost always as an e-book reader, would the $150 more expensive Axim give me any advantage? How would you rate its higher display resolution? Also, isn't the Axim's display larger in physical dimensions than the T5?

I cannot make the decision for you, Alex, but I think the T5 is a nice device if you use it mainly for reading e-books. On the other hand, wouldn't you love to be able to surf the net with it as well (i.e. where is the freakin' WiFi?).
I cannot comment on the display of the X50v since I have never seen it in live. |
