Kobo glo hd screenshot quirk
It's well known that Kobo has a secret setting for screenshots (details). I've been using it on the Kobo Glo HD and I noticed something weird.

As I understand it, the screenshot is triggered by putting the ereader to sleep with the power button.

On the Glo HD, the power button does trigger a screenshot, but here's the fun part: that doesn't put the Glo HD to sleep.

Is that a quirk or are things supposed to work that way?

It's supposed to be that way. You can use the button to send the device to sleep... or to take a screenshot. Either one or the other. For people with sleepcovers (who use magnet for sending to sleep) it's probably fine...

I thought the power button was supposed to do both when this setting was enabled.

If ScreenShots is enabled, that's all the power button does when your Kobo is awake. You'll need to use a sleepcover to put the device to sleep. If you wait past the time out and your Kobo goes to sleep, hitting the power button used to wake it up but I haven't tested that for a while now.
