Fujitsu LT C-500 as a Cheap PDF/Ebook Reader?

I am not linking to it, as its not my auction, but I saw this on ebay for $128.

These are the specs:

Tablet PC

Celeron 500Mhz
128Mg Ram
8.4in Active TFT SVGA Display(800x600)
6gig Hard Drive
Windows 2000
Internal 56k modem but they are including a Wireless G PCMCIA card.

Ok, so if this were to be used as a laptop computer, it would be lousy specs. But for reading Ebooks/PDFs how much horsepower do you really need?

I mean you can get much less bloated PDF viewers than Adobe. And I'm sure it would run Mobipocket/Microsoft Reader, etc.

The only possible concerns would be. 800x600 isn't that great of a resolution, but it would suffice for reading. And the auction says it holds a charge, but no guarantees on battery life....

But I really want something to work with Zinio.com(The Digital Magzine People. Cool technology, but its no fun reading magazines on a PC, but cool on a tablet.)

Thoughts?

I had this little unit ..its nice but the battery life is terrible and these units get hot to the point that holding them is very uncomfortable. That and they arent what I would describe as being very light to hold. I used mine to watch videos on it and such and did some reading . It just wasnt practical.
