On a more serious note, it seems from that article that if you want to remember something you've read and focus your attention on the relevant details, read it in a difficult-to-read font. I know. It sounds counter-intuitive, doesn't it?

Bummer. I hadn't thought of that. As I've had a New Scientist paid digital subscription for years, I tend to forget that not everyone can see these things.
