ICARUS e-ink readers
There does not seem to be a development forum for the ICARUS e-ink readers.
http://www.icarusreader.com/products Anyone interested in modifying these devices? Notes: * They are also Linux devices (and the image bins are not "Amazon Garbled") * No trace found of source code bundles being posted. (I have contacted the manufacturer on this subject already.) |

Icarus isn't actually the manufacturer. They just put their brand on hardware which was originally developed by a Singapore based firm.
Open Inkpot would be a nice improvement on the original firmware, only that project appears to have gone quiet. |

You do not say which device you mean.
For example, as far as I know, what they call "eXcel (E1050BK)" is just a rebranded "Onyx Boox M92" -> see MobileRead Forums > E-Book Readers -> Onyx Boox |

*AND* The onyx-international source code resources seem to be off-line (at least now). So much for that "brain fart" |
