Palm dominates Pocket PC at Chess

For the first time ever, a Palm chess program is dominating all other
chess software on the Pocket PC (and the Palm). So the developer claims.

After 42 games between Palm chess Hiarcs (the strongest Palm chess
program) and Pocket Fritz 2 (the strongest Pocket PC chess program) with
both running on 400Mhz XScale hardware the score stands at:
Palm Chess Hiarcs 9.41 27.5-14.5 Pocket Fritz 2

And according to the developer, Palm Hiarcs is beating other Palm chess programs like Chess Tiger and Chess Genius by even greater margins.

Does that mean Palm-based PDA's are smarter than PPC?

/laughs!/

Oh come on. Let's be a littler more POLITICALLY Correct here. It's not that PalmOne software is smarter, it's just better coded. Wait. You know. I think you're actually right. PalmOne software IS smarter than Windows crap. /evil grin/

/whistles innocently/

Not like I'm helping in stopping a Palm/WinCE war, am I?

Not necessarily Joe. But it definitely means they've got more power in their pocket.

Morph, you clearly got those results from the HIARCS site, just to let you know the person that played them against each other set Pocket Fritz 2 on an easy mode and the perm brain off, while HIARCS was on its best! Everyone knows Shredder is the best program out there (The real engine employed is Shredder in Pocket Fritz 2)!

PPC Forever!
