Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code under Fire :)

FaithfulReader.com, a Christian book site, has assembled eleven authors who have all written their own books in response to Brown's "The Da Vinci Code." They even go so far in explaining you the potential damage that his conclusions could inflict on a person's faith. Interesting how important they take a work of FICTION.

If a person's faith can't withstand the challenges of one book, then they really don't have all that much faith. On the other hand, I feel that someone who is truly faithful would appreciate a challenge to their views. By considering and personally refuting a challenge you can strengthen your own views. And perhaps you learn more about yourself and, heaven forfend, grow and change.

Speaking of the DaVinci Code and ebooks, have you checked out the new fictionwise/geek.com ebook site, eBookGeek.com?

They're featuring Hank Hanegraaff's Dan Brown spin-off book right now, "The DaVinci Code: Fact or Fiction?":

Quote:
People are talking. The DaVinci Code has been on the New York Times best-seller list for almost a year and is raising a variety of responses from Christians and non-Christians alike. Some are outraged and upset by the claims of Dan Browne while others are left utterly confused and don't know what to believe. The Davinci Code: Fact or Fiction? explodes the myths of the book and shows the realibility of Scripture, the divinity of Christ, as well as the historical facts for the Priory of Zion and the Knight's Templar. This is the only hands-on accessible reference guide. The DaVinci Code: Fact or Fiction? even helps you turn debate about the book into an evangelistic opportunity.
As a matter of fact, as a store-opening bonus, all Dan Brown titles are on sale at eBookGeek with a 35% "Micropay Rebate" if you pay with a credit card (Like, how else would you pay? I dunno...). Micropay Rebates get added to your acct to go toward the purchase of future orders.

A couple of Leonardo's own books are included in this offer as well.
