Toshiba Unveils New Display Technologies

Toshiba America Electronic Components (TAEC) today announced it will demonstrate a host of new advanced display technologies for mobile phones, mobile PCs, and industrial displays this week at the 2004 Society for Information Display (SID) International Symposium, Seminar & Exhibition in Seattle, Washington.

Innovative new display solutions announced today for the mobile computing market include a lightweight, ultra-thin glass 14.1-inch SXGA+ (1400x1050) liquid crystal display (LCD) for notebook PCs, a 12.1-inch WXGA (1280x768) LCD for wide-format mobile PCs, a 12.1-inch SXGA+ LCD for Tablet PCs, and a 5.6-inch WSVGA (1024x600) ultra-high resolution LCD for use in mini PCs.
