Free Windows 256 color remake of Maniac Mansion & Zak McCracken

It’s done! The latest adventure game from LucasFan Games is available now! Its name: Maniac Mansion Deluxe! After eight months of making you can download a 256-colour remake of the mother of all point & click-adventures! With its improved SCUMM-interface, digital sound effects and continuous background music it’s the best Maniac Mansion ever made! The New Adventures of Zak McKracken is available for free too.

I am not so sure about the legality of these two projects, so if you like old Lucasarts Games, you better hurry and snap it now!

Looks like they just took the graphics from the FM Towns version and pasted them into the original PC game. Anyway, love this games and will get my chances on these two.

Yeah remember those endless nights playing Maniac Mansion?

There is another new Point&Click adventure available now: Britton O'Toole wrote a game called 'No-Action Jackson' with Adventure Game Studio. You can download it on his project-site here.
