Volume Control app no longer controls/ works
Anyone else having issues with volume control app?
Mine slides up and down on the slider and i have it active but it does nothing to actually control my volume anymore.
i have to use the gear Icon to control my volume now.

Help. What changed to make it not work?

That's funny, mine wasn't working this morning either. I restarted my Fire and that fixed it.

I've noticed that it sometimes doesn't work in Netflix unless I pause the video. That's new for me.

Works now. Went back and changed setting to use vol control for "all streams" so now it knows what the input is, like music, video, etc.
Something in my settings must have been whacked
