Kindle boot logs
I just noticed these, and thought they might be useful.

Interesting... so the UI is written in Java.

Interesting history on what you've been reading too. Why have you been reading the Cybook Gen3 User Manual on your Kindle?
Just curious. It's been logging errors for "/mnt/mmc/documents/ID2097-worldsthatwerent4.prc" and thinks it's 0 bytes. Were you getting errors through the interface as well? It looks like it has some handy debugging information there. |

Interesting that they didn't do any kind of obfuscation on the Java bytecode (at least not on the package/class/method names). It might decompile nicely...

They did obfuscate the Mobi reader classes.

Linux and Java powered. We are seeing how Free Software moves revolutions... in hardware. The Asus EEE (OLPG, er, OLPC) and the Kindle (E-ink readers). Hmm, all of this is MIT driven, isn't it?
