Non-English ebooks
Hi all

I've been looking at this forum for a long time, decided to finally post.

I was wondering if anyone could help me in finding unpaid ebooks, prefereably in French and German (something easy to read, even children's books are ok).

I would really like to see how good the translation dictionaries are.

I did try looking for some, but I just realized how much English has encompassed all internet media.

Try Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org). They have lots of books in French and German.

We have a fair few here at MR.

There are many free public domain works in various languages over at Project Gutenberg and other such repositories.

Someone else asked about free public domain German e-books in another forum recently, and many of the site links should also be applicable for free French e-books as well.
