1. Guide was made assuming that you had USBNetwork Hack. If you don't have it, you'll at least need to install some other hack. Launchpad might be able to do it. 3. You can access that folder through USBNetwork or perhaps some other hack. You can't access it just by Windows Explorer by plugging in the Kindle. When you browse your Kindle on your computer, you're actually just browsing the /mnt/us/ directory. The Kindle only lets users browse this directory to try to protect the operating system from tampering. Also, you'd generally want to talk about this hack related stuff in the Developer's Corner.
