Android App Store

Today while on the eDGe home page, using my eDGe, I found the Entourage App Store, wth a few select Apps, all free, and easy to download. Is it just me, or do others find it strange that this was never put on the Forum home page? It seems like a big deal to me that they would want to announce to all eDGe owners, easily done on the front page of the forum.... maybe replace one of the articles thats been there for months.

A similar thing happened when they opened the textbook store.... no announcement to the users....just started it. Seems strange to me.

In any case, I am very happy about the app store and am hopeful that the offerings will grow in number rapidly. Happy to pay for good apps.

Thats one way to look at it (I was in the hospital so I missed those posts on 6/17). From another angle, there was no "hooplah" by Entourage to announce the opening of the app store.

As I understand it, enTourage is waiting for the "official" opening of the app store until it gets it's submission process in place.
