Stock android calendar app in rooted NC

In some of the views (month, day, week) in the stock calendar app that comes with the rooted NC, there is a bar that appears at the top of the screen. It looks like a search bar, but when you tap into it, the keyboard does not come up. Unfortunately it blocks "all day events" that appear at the top of the screen. You can just see the event under the bar.

Does anyone know how to turn it off? I have checked the options, but no luck. It looks like a great app - it updates fast from Google Calendar, but fairly limited if you cannot see "all day events".

Any help as always greatly appreciated.

Hal.

Use Jorte (personal organizer). It syncs with Google Calendar and Tasks. Several people here use it. Also, grab Synker which allows you to sync at will.

Thanks

Thanks everyone. It looks like a problem with using Calendar on a jailbroken NC. Synker looks like a good recommendation. May use it with Pocket Informant or Jorte.
