<body style=""> How to stop this?
As the title says. How do I get Sigil to stop adding in the style="" to every html file in the epub?
I set all my definitions in the stylesheet so this really is not needed. |

It's such a trivial thing, does it really bother you that much?

Yes & no. Yes it bothers me but not enough that I can't live with it. I just asked if there was a way to stop it. I've read through the thread provided above, apparently there's nothing I can do about it so I am not worried about it but thanks for asking
As an aside I do love the program. Before I was having to unzip the epub after calibre and make whatever fixes, zip it back up, rename it etc. Even made a donation. I also like the fact there is no huge donation button, that doesn't go away even after you've donated... *cough*calibre*cough* So to sum up, it's just a minor annoyance. I asked a question, got an answer. |

It annoys me also. Useless code is always useless code. Anyway, I'm using InDesign CS5 as my main tool for ePubs and InD CS5 makes a lot of useless code also. So, all my e-books contain lot of useless code but I guess I just have to live with that

I know this is the wrong forum, but if you don't want the donation button to show in calibre then remove it from the toolbar. Go to Preferences - Customize the toolbar and move the donation button from the right to the left side, click apply and it's gone.

Create an issue on the tracker for it and I'll add it to the post-Tidy filters.

Ahhh, thank you. I took a look there before but I didn't look deep enough.
