Hi! New User Sony PRS-950
Hi! I just joined yesterday. I got a Sony PRS 950 recently because it supports ePub and because the memoy is expandable. I have read books from the library and on CD for many years and finally decided to get into the eBook world when I saw the titles available from the Clevenet library system. I retired about 7 years ago and decided that it was easier to get books via the Internet than having to reserve them on-line and then having to go pick them up and return them. I do have some questions re memory but I'll post those on another forum.
I'm retired as I said. I worked for Republic Steel, LTV Steel, Accenture and Getronics in IT for 34 years in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I was in charge of 7 plant's IT (1500 PCs, servers, network, etc.) when I retired. I moved to Florida when I retired but it is too dam* hot down there and I moved back to Cleveland two years ago. I like to read, garden and have 4 dogs, Foxy, Cagney, Lacy and Gizmo. About 240 pounds total. All rescues, all female and all neutered. After retirement, I did some contract IT work and consulted for a retirement home chain in Florida as well as did some volunteer work at the local hospital but I've not kept my skills up with IT for several years. Well I think that's enough. Boring! So long. Carl |

Hi, Carl. Welcome to MR. You are fortunate to have access to Clevenet. It's a great resource. Have fun with the 950 and enjoy your retirement.
