Kindle emulator on Java CDC toolkit
Hello all,
I created simple application that emulates kindle on Java CDC toolkit. I used KDK Emulator, but since almost all ui classes are just empty implementations i've decided to modify and use my old J2ME port of Android ui framework - Kindleflow. Requirements: - rooted kindle with appropriate developer keystore - Sun Java Toolkit 1.0 for CDC - Eclipse IDE 1. Install CDC toolkit 2. Create New Java Project 3. Checkout sample Hello World project 4. Checkout Kindleflow 5. Copy emulator skin from KindleHelloWorld/Kindle directory to {CDC Toolkit Path}/emulator-lib/devices 6. Open project with Eclipse 7. Use ant tasks to build/run Kindle on Emulator or to deploy to your Device. |

Should this baby called "Kindle emulator"?
it just yet another UI framework... none of Kindle widget will work on this framework... it is a good idea, but useless for real Kindlet developer. Thanks anyway. |
