Edit PDF to force sans-serif font?
Hello,
As a way to make reading PDFs on my old Bookeen easier, I was wondering if a PDF can be edited so that it uses a sans-serif font (eg. Arial) instead? That reader doesn't seem to offer that feature, so I'd have to edit the PDF on the computer before uploading it to the reader. Thank you. Code:
mutool.exe info -F input.pdf PDF-1.7 Info object (616 0 R): <</CreationDate(D:20220818133812-04'00')/Creator(Adobe InDesign 17.3 \(Macintosh\))/ModDate(D:20220830094111-04'00')/Producer(Adobe PDF Library 16.0.7)/Title<546865208D456E65726779205472616E736974696F6E8E2044656C7573696F6E3A2041205265616C697479205265736574207C204D616E68617474616E20496E73746974757465>/Trapped/False>> Pages: 36 Retrieving info from pages 1-36... Short answer: No, PDFs are not for editing. You would have to literally re-do the PDF to get the font you want. By that, meaning you would have to edit the document such as on Word or Libre Office, then save / convert to PDF. There's no other way to change it without potentially ruining / corrupting it.
