Insert special character: some niggles
There are a couple of things that I find slightly annoying about the Insert Special Character dialog:
1) When the dialog is resized, the characters don't reflow to fit the available space, so I'm stuck with 10 characters per line, although sometimes for reasons beyond my comprehension it changes to 9 or 11 characters a line. IMHO, instead of adding a scrollbar when it becomes too narrow, and ignoring the extra width when it becomes too wide, it would be nice if the characters were reflowed to fit the available space. 2) Sometimes I find myself typing and then discover that nothing has happened because the ISC dialog has focus. Is there any reason why keystrokes when the ISC dialog has focus can't refocus the main editor window and forward the keystroke? (Except obviously when the search box at the top has focus.) What do you think? |
